Nathalie Fari (São Paulo, 1975) is an independent performer, researcher and teacher based in Berlin. She holds a degree in Art Education from the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado University and in acting from the TUCA theatre school of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, and the Centro de Pesquisa Teatral Institute under the direction of Antunes Filho. In 2009 she completed a Master of Arts degree in Space Strategies – Exploratory Art in Public Contexts at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee Berlin. Starting in 1997 she has developed several performance projects in collaboration with other artists and researchers in the context of: art-exhibitions, performance-art, performing-arts and multimedia festivals, theater-, opera-, and film productions, architecture-, design-, and fashion events and at the public spaces as well. In addition to that, from 2010, she has been promoting the concept of Body Mapping, designing workshops and research labs based on the relation between body and space, body and city. From 2011 to 2015, Nathalie was also a co-organiser of the independent Platform Month of Performance Art Berlin, and since 2016 she is part of the artistic research group Practicing Communities: How can artistic research transform society? of the Nordic Summer University.
Berlin based urban anthropologist. She teaches urban anthropology at Humboldt-University Berlin and published several books and essays on this topic with a focus on subculture and field research. Earlier projects include the international research project „Culture of Cities. Toronto, Montreal, Berlin, Dublin“ (Yorck University, Toronto), where she owned a fellowship. Books (selected titles): Sensing the City. A Companion to Urban Anthropology (2016). Kosmonauten des Underground. Ethnografie einer Berliner Szene (2010). She currently works for the Institute for Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology at the Georg-August-University Göttingen.
Minja Mertanen is Helsinki-based performer. She has a degree in Dance and Dance & Movement Therapy. She’s also a yoga instructor. Minja has been teaching butoh for over 10 years to professional dancers and groups. She is active in performance – and live art scene in Finland, working in “Other Spaces” and “Reality Research Center.”
“Reality Research Center” is a collective that specializes in participatory performances. “Other Spaces” produces participatory performances during which participants get to visit various states of being other than human.
Oliver Euchner is a passionate 5 Rhythms Teacher who has been trained by Gabrielle Roth, her son Jonathan Horan and other senior 5rs teachers in the US and Europe. Before moving to Berlin he has been living in New York City, where he was an active member of the New York Gurdjieff foundation for more than 15 years. He has been certified by Richard Freeman as an Astanga Yoga teacher and has been following a daily meditation practice for 25 years. He is a father, a powerful drummer and is running his own business in Berlin.
Petterson Costa (São Paulo, 1976) is an independent choreographer, performer and researcher. He holds a degree in Communication and Arts of the Body from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. He studied dance trough the lens of Klauss Vianna for twelve years and since then, he has been practicing Aikido. Additionally, he is a member of the collective „Núcleo de Garagem“ with which he has been producing various projects in public spaces since 2010. Currently, Peti is living in Berlin and developing a research methodology in choreography. His interests lies in the works that investigate the collaborative aspect of the artistic languages and relations: between the creators, the body and the public space and also the cultural landscapes.
